How to Make (Manufacture, Fabricate or Produce) Oatmeal

Steps for manufacturing oatmeal

  • Grow and harvest oat grain
  • Slice the individual grains into chunks, and package and sell them as "steel cut oats"
  • Roll whole grains, flattening them, and package and sell them as regular oatmeal.
  • Roll whole grains, but make them thicker than normal -- an example is "Bob's Double Thick oatmeal."
  • Steam or parcook the grains, and then flatten them when dry enough. Package and sell this product as "Quick" oatmeal."
